AT4- A Weekend not to forget in a hurry !

When your only trying to do a quick post it's hard to do somthing so quick and little when you have so much running through your mind ,when an amazing weekend is in full swing and going on. The cocktail do was a very special event this year and highly organized, seeing the people in there best attire. I myself have been lucky to go to a cocktial at AT1&AT2..I was astounded by the details made for the actual person with charms to take home, table layouts and food beautiful.

Amanda and Thomasina have been selling it all ..really !! ..not really ..only when the auctions were involved but you can still tell no matter on what level or the little issue of the day they contibute all their 100% , to it with smiles,happiness,fun laughter,and much more which only made the rest of the attendess laugh harder and contribute their money and help.

Gabit shone themselves with the dedicated staff/teamwork/organization yet again with stewarding and much more through all attendees involved who helped in everything large or little.

The days ran smoothly with q&a's, photo sessions,watching SGA eps,amandas film breakdown
and the autograph sessions on the final day.

the party on saturday was a hit with many people dressing up in all sorts of abnormal or purple outfits, some HAVEN, SANCTURAY BASED, VAMPIRE, WEREWOLF, SG UNIFORMS, ACTION CHARACTERS, and alike it was all very funny to watch and see .....

overall this event has been an amazing expierence and has left me with new friends , meeting online friends, and left with a big surprise when gabit pre-registered for AT5 there and then !

all I can say is WOW !.... I'll definatly be back !

Hey all, yeah my birthday was really great :D , for staters I didnt have any seizures the night prior so on the day i was up for

going out and doing thinggs most definatly, I loved the birthday cards that I got from everyone ange,debs, homeinstead(care company)

my parents,my gran,my uncle richard and wife gilly, ruth, and others.

As I;m mid way now at 31 im accumulating more so my folks just thought as a gift it would be good to give me a argoes and ikea catologue

we all had a laugh. Ange and debs got me a signature from Ben Browder when he did milton keynes and i was to ill to go.. so that was great.

but I think what made the day was having aftoon tea with cake at john lewis with my close family, then we went window shopping :D..

the relaxed film night at church was great, I think hopefully i may be able to help in the tech department if needs be

the pursuit of happiness we watched.. and then chatted with drinks and cake/food :) / fellowship ...

alls good..

my tripod helped out in the morning for the baptism's as there was 10 which was brilliant pitty i missed them..

Hi All

It was great to see all at the youth gathering for chatter / games / worship and fun :D , since this live it live 4 was my first

event that I've been to I thought Will, Matt,Tom and the Worship team did a brilliant job.. I found it was a great way to see the inside

of the youth at the hockley centre. The event was really well organized, with a relaxed atmosphere and beanbags for chairs :). I hope to be able to go to another one when it appears

on the horizon.

Hi all..

after a rainy long day vist to the hospital to see the specialist about my condition and how recently my seizres worsed during the locasimide intake, so after decreasing of that which.. helped me go back to normal...

nothing was found in my MRI.......... darn... my brain being to perfect.. NOT! lol.. the specialist then recomended me to increase one of my current drugs that Im on to see its affect to see whats to me..

If no improvement, we may try increaseing my V.N.S. (read below in livejournal)

OVERALL: im doing not to bad..weak some days..

Well I hope I get better soon I havent been to well recently like i was ,back a few months which does me in.. i'm messing with drugs at the moment, so phoneing the doc's and consultants you can imaine what it's been like and I've been that poorly roughly the last 7days or more that I havent left the house... not my useual bouncy self you could say..

so just trying to get myself back on track with my drugs now.. few months back I had a MRI or CT scan you know one of those big tunnel things you get your brian scanned.

of course I had my V.N.S swirched of prior then on after which was weird lol !.. I listerned to Kelly Clarkson during the scan :). on cd as they allowed cd's to be played.

Hopefully if my drugs go back to normal and, this new drug change I should be ok here's praying.

The New Year arrives!

Well we welcome 2009 another year..

a Quiet but fairly Busy Christmas,New Year and Boxing Day.. with relations etc :D

on my business front in regards to first film productions the project Nature as been dropped due to the lack of footage able to edit. Project Journey is still on the drawing board and a good possibility. I have to edit the footage that I shot for project exercise.. filmed in vancouver. in August'08.

I also aim to start up a photography wing buisness under the ffp logo ( a site still in development )

During 2008, I travelled a fair bit doing montreal,vancouver and heathrow,uk. I hope to do more travelling in later years, and a high possibility of back to vancouver in 2010.

Hey to all my new friends on facebook/myspace that I have made this year throughout the year, hope to stay in contact with quite a fair few of you all.

If anyone want's to know how i'm doing just ask.. health wise.. so so..

but ok.. ive got a new laptop now to help things proceed in the business field.

Conjunction of thoughts

This will be my second attempt at this post as the first one i lost and so decided to live as i was to upset to try again so tv was a better way to cool down.. Recently I've beeen one of those people who has had numerous thigs playing around in my head that has just kept me to busy to mention and mainly most of it has been surfing online or tech involved.

Well i've been recently over the the last few months organizing conventions for a few friends which are coming soon and so i cant wait when we do. AT3 which we did go to was just one of them that i helped to organize the tickets for us.

I'm also reorganizing some wolf con tickets as ive booked a convention with wolf when im not here so... im awaiting to hear if they will agree to a transfer for me.

that aside.. my Bedroom has had a makeover recently moving furniture and into the clearing shelves as started and relocating some items for safe keeping so i have more room in my bedroom, i still have some shelves to organize and little things to do like to hang up frames but thats about it...

Another part of me has also slowed up and i would really like to move forward with is my filming.............
I have 2 projects my first 'the journey' and the 2 'nature'.. i've filmed some footage for them both but mostly they are both in pre-production and need script / storyboard for them.. to check my film side out, look me up on:

Hi All

yesterday.. i finally did a HUGGGEEE part of my sister's camcorder footage on dvd, which i think is good, I've just another small part to do and i'm finished yiipppee.. I do love doing it! aswell as the sideline filming that i do :). . . I'm patient with that so no rush.

For those who are going AT3 coming up shortly aka this weekend.., I can't wait i've been trying to think of signature items lol.. I feel sorry for some of my good friends that are not going :( ...

It will be my first time being a Steward so I hope i do well....

I will put as much details in my journal as i can remeber from AT3 as I can.. lol..

since i last posted... so here's a update !

Things have been a bit crazy to say the least with lfe in general,as i guess many people can imagine. When I finished the BBC i was left on high in '05, so then doing 2 set's of work experience for them was just great to do, and i'll never forget it.

I'm still trying to get back into doing more work with the television/film industry,as i just love all the various sides of production that goes into making a film or show. My sideline Hobbie now being Photography..is quite a big pull as i love doing that aswell.

Aside from the trying to get back into the industry and photography which are my creative curve which are joined, I'm mainly ..just going through up's and downs at the moment as with this diagnosed disability (epilepsy).. with that i get come income DLA and Incapacity benefit.. I've also been awarded continuing care at the moment to help me do other things as i need 24/7 care...

Simultaneously going through a welfare fight involving Blackpool DLA, cutting some of my benefit..so i'm going to tribunal to get that back. so you can imagine what it's like ..but at the moment I've been really well for the last 3 weeks which is amazing.. been to cinemas..saw drillbit taylor, been shopping at the trafford centre (large shopping mahl).. plus i'm going out to the local shops a plenty.. plus im going out and useing my wheelchair alot. yep i'm a wheelchair user also!.. they are fun to drive lol !..mines sporty..stickers all over it!...

this has become more of a documentary post to summerise the last year or so for all who read... well i'll have to see how my life goes.. my VNS is working fine i'm on level 6 now.. (read prior post about VNS).. I'm going into hospital so my folks can learn about another drug to use on me for the future, this has to be arranged as of yet.. so i'll keep all in formed on that.

My side filming project first film productions... i havent done much on it really.. my main thought in regards to filming is to digitize my sister's wedding celebration from the u.k reception. I have 2 dv tapes to do so i have a long time to work on that. my sis has since flown back home to montreal,CA..

I can't wait for some scifi cons coming up this year.. first AT3 www.gabitevents.co.uk and
vancouver gatecon the return www.gatecon.com in august !

Avalon Event

Avalon event - wells, sommersby 24th - 26th nov 2006...

Well i'll never forget this convention in a hurry, me and my mum arrived on the friday to check into a sweet and cosey b&b just outside wells in somerset, my friends from coventry/birmingham way also arrived the same day and checked in aswell into the same place..

we all went into wells to check the area and register ,it was nice to meet mummsey and the gabit gang doing the registration in a sweet cafe/bar in the town..

we were all marked for the saturday pm session so we had plenty of time to chill... " it was funny to here that Richard d anderson flew in on the friday and had to go straight to doing morning sessions lol "

while in town we checked out the area/castle walls and where we were going to park on the saturday as we were allowed disabled parking..

we spoke to sue at the gate to the abbey and she gave us a parking permit for the saturday..

saturday came:

talk about excited i've never been so excited lol!... me and my friends met up for breakfast and we chatted about it all.

the saturday pm session:

me and my mum drove to the gates and went and parked in our disabled space on the circuler driway near the abbey and awaited the session time to come .. as time went on ..i spotted julia.. and thought theres always someone important with her.. so i immediatly reconised the black cap and coat figure with tad of grey hair and there was amanda.. yep it was the twosome.. i got some great pics as they walked round the courtyard to see the people queing..thomasina was with them aswell..

well eventually the doors opened!... and we went in and turned left up the stairs and right into a q&a room all very nice..
we all started trying to find our numbered seats lol..

the first five mins..papparazzi a blaze when ric and amanda walked in.. all questions pre chosen and picked ....
amanda and ric bounced them to and fro to each other...

afterwards we headed down to the meet and greet/coffee and cake room...

amanda chatting mainly because ric wasnt that used to it but he tried well... and responsed with humour it was a laugh.." on our table we left him and at some cake, which ric ate most of lol "...

later on .. i thought the photos were really fun as you got the 1 on 1/shake hand, it was really nice,

the auction in the evening was even more of a blast with dan/siler joining in ric worked his humour into it and did things by thinking them and passing the idea on sometimes or like personaliseing auction items for people..

thomasina also joined in the fun....

i would have put more detail in some things but my brain thinks faster than i can type and my hand is tired..lol

Well the parking wasn’t that great as the disabled parking was close but the main parking is quite a fair walk from the actual q&a hall/event place in the gloustershire university..

Considering this is a university I thought the disabled access would be first rate..i.e told to moved when parked on disabled space because of vans delivering..!!

The gym hall consisted of a angled seating structure inside with movable seats on the

Floor facing a huge stage..

My photo sessions went great i.e with Erik and Colin prob because I was the only person there lol.. so quick easy 1 on 1 very pleasant..J

The autographs I thought could have been managed better.. they had they on tables in a small room on the first floor with the ppl circuling the balcony waiting to enter the room… I thought desks along the stage and ppl queing along the gym internal wall would be better through the main entrance of the gym..

I thanked corin and colin for the auction they worked so hard on during the make a wish auction evening on saturday which went on forever..

the q&a: well lets think... corin interesting and nice...steve has a bit of a weird humour but at the right moments he's spot on :).....Erik is interesting and pleasent as he informs us about his on goings in the film industry... colin gave us a broad range of humour/laughter/intergiue and focuse on the positives of his
accompllishments... suanne...pleasent/humourous/witty and has a quick witted sense..that is fun.. :)

That auction on Saturday was just mad!!!!!!!………….

Erik was bidding against himself at one point lol..volunteers who where mike running where bidding ..totally mad..colin was passing out money to someone to help make bids.. just crazy.. and a lot of fun with all of them..except suanne..

During that I got “ 30 modified stargate sg-1 schematic drawings layout/detail of the lifeboat episode (of the ship)..the drawings have pencil draft marks, are signed by convention cast and are stamped by a red revised date stamp from mgm.

I stayed at the nearby travelodge on the A40 so we needed a car.. plus im a partial wheelchair user anyway..

well i was suppost to leave for daventry today.. however other things happened.. my health was not to well so i cancelled the friday night at the hotel..
me and my mum may leave tomorrow depending on how things are if not its another convention that ive missed..lol.. i guess a bit like..
sg-7,sg-8 and sg-10.

I'll update later..on my health..

i had ticket #102.. so aswell as sig's and pics the only real thing i miss out on is the 'meet and greet'.

well its been a while since i last typed in this space/area....

now what has happened since i last spoke quite a bit ..my drugs schedule has changed and changed again from lyrica to zonisamide ..which im now steadily building up hopefulkly to 300mg plus.., my sleeping patterns have been steady with some miner blimps grouped in the months gone by which have had some disturbance but ive got over them..

I've met my neuro surgeon mr richardson at hope hospital with regards to me having a vagal nerve stimulator implanted to help control the seizures that i have.. all is positive on that front should hear in 3months+ weather i have a position at hope to have the op done..

a funny thing i heard of mr richardson was that one of his clients who had one set a airport metal detector off lol! ... so i should have some fun with that when travelling the country and to the states/canada to see my sis..

so things are going well i also have my sci-fi conventions to keep me busy i.e galactica 2, gatecon uk, amanda tapping in nov, and possible a special stargate sg-1 star in nov also.. *wink* *wink*

so all is good here.. church at the weekends if i can manage it but do enjoy so much and home meetings as and when :)...

my folks are doing well john & sandra.. keeping busy my dad is with work.. my mum has recently been building a new kitchen so ive lended a hand which was good.

Still ive had no luck in the job front yet so heres hopeing ..that as and when in gods plan somthing will come around....

well i have a few rough days/nights over the last week or more i think... i wasnt to good last night but i feel ok now.. I've also just regained my internet connection on my computer as i havent had it for 4/5 days.

My folks and me are planning a few holidays that we can have with my sister in the states... and the ones in the uk.. plus we have to arrange this around the useual prebooked appointments lol!..

so all is good here my sis arrives for a weeks stay on the 20th so im excited..

hi all.. well its been a few days since i left a message here, ive been fine most days yesterday i went out shopping to stockport as my camera was broke and i neeeded a new memory card. we got a few bits and pieces for my mum and we saw a few friends who work in a local shop in stockport.

last night i wasnt to well as i had a few seizures which have knocked me for six... so i now have to build my strength up again to perform my maximum awareness. Its just the way im managing at the moment plus the drug increases and decreases are a mindful lol! but humouress.

I hope all that are reading are well and good... i'm just plonding along in the path that has been written for me... plus reading the bible and spiritual gatherings helps for mind and strength.

Been a while..

its nearly been ten days since i last typed.. but iv'e been up and down when it came to my seizures ive had some nights so i just havent got round to typing as ive been in bed some days...

During the lax in the time period i have been around shopping, tescoes, john lewis, got a freeview box.. had my comp upgraded we got broadband wireless.

Ive been to my mums work,dads clients, thats about it and church at poynton.
Ive seen the consultant another drug increase while still on the decrease of the other drug plus to resolve what is happing about vns??

plus to all wondering whos reading I'm diagnosed with epilepsy... plus my mum and i go furniture viewing...we need new furniture the lounge.

apart from watching the normal cable/tv things..will & grace,smallville,one tree hill,galactica, and dvds that ive bought im still alive and well .. catchy phrase isnt it. I'm still here... see how i'am tomorrow!

To All.. I sent in a application to the bbc for a job :) .... plus i found out that i had a interview at the BBC for a position :).....so there was alot of email communication this day.. and phone calls :). so a good day in all. i'll have to make a choice between Jobs if i get a interview on the other application...
we will have to see???

well its be great today :)... today i found out that I have a Interview for a Researcher position at the BBC and whilst a long talk with my sis on the phone, Found out she got a promotion :)... so its all good today... while people do there jobs.. me and my Dad went shopping for a few bits.. plus a favourite programme of mine was on tonight 9pm "commander and cheif" - abc1 .. a night in to watch :)
plus having alot of cups of tea ive been realising lol!... and a fav meal for tea lasnagne (pasta and meat with sauce)mmmmmmm.. with the useual bits and pieces.

a slow working day...

today its been slow i thought after getting up i started preparing an application for the BBC in manchester, so it was time to consentrate reading page after page through things, but to speed the day up i did help my mum at work.. and have had good tea breaks with the chats which are needed to keep you sane lol!.. but the chats are great with mum,dad on life..on future aspects and things that may happen.. mmm we can only think... and keep on praying aswell... overall a nice day :)

well its been a good day to start.. church this morning was really nice with a great sermon and fellowship with my friends at new hope..

today its been a easy day.. being help to my dad by putting some tyres on ebay hopefully for sale!!.. the rest ive been surfing the routes of myspace.com and the journal site.. I had my hair cut this morning which was nice finally.. but overall releaved that i got it done :). its been a sunny glorious day here ... i should of also walked out abit maybe tomorrow after church?... laters..
